Teachers' Workloads Diary Survey

The teachers’ workloads diary survey provides data on the hours and working patterns of teachers in maintained primary, secondary and special schools in England and Wales.

This is the 10th survey to examine teachers’ workloads. As in previous years, teachers were asked to complete the diary during a fixed week in March 2009. A total of 1,572 teachers from 169 schools returned a complete diary.
