Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) - promotes internationally excellent higher education in Wales.

Joseph Rowntree Foundation - a social policy research and development charity, with a research and development programme that seeks to better understand the causes of social difficulties and explore ways of overcoming them.

LARIA (Local Authorities Research and Intelligence Association) - promotes the role and practice of research within the field of local government and provides a supportive network for those conducting or commissioning research.

NatCen (National Centre for Social Research) - an independent social research institute. Designs, carries out and analyses research studies in the fields of social and public policy.

Social Research Association - an organisation open to social research practitioners and trainees from all sectors, as well as others with an interest in social research.
