I am pleased to announce the publication of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Welsh Ministers and the Consumer Council for Water.

The Memorandum is a statutory agreement required under section 27B of the Water Industry Act 1991, as amended by the Water Act 2003.  The Act places a duty on the Consumer Council for Water and Welsh Ministers to make arrangements with each other with a view to promoting co-operation, the exchange of information and the consistent treatment of matters which affect both parties.

A copy of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Welsh Ministers and the Consumer Council for Water is attached for information.

The document is also available on the Welsh Assembly Government website and hard copies have been placed in the Library.
