State of the Estate Report 11/12

The report provides a snapshot of the estate as at 31st March 2012. It details the achievements that have been realised in 2011/12; charts our progress and considers those improvements still to be made. It draws comparisons with previous reporting years and with the performance of both the UK and Scottish Government Civil estates. The report provides data on size, cost, efficiency and environmental performance of the estate.

The report concentrates on 3 main priorities which are:

• to reduce the size of the overall estate 
• to increase the efficiency of the administrative offices on the estate; and 
• to improve the environmental performance of the buildings on the estate
