Consultation on Draft Sex and Relationships Guidance

The new guidance will replace the Welsh Office Circular 45/94 and aims to address areas of uncertainty about the nature of sex and relationship education and how it should be taught.
Start of consultation: 01/07/2001
End of consultation: 30/09/2001

As is required under the Learning and Skills Act 2000, the guidance secures that when sex education is covered, schools must teach the nature of marriage and its importance to family life.
