The Individual Pupil Data Project Consultation

The National Assembly for Wales Individual Learning Data Programme is working towards developing the use of computers for school management and administration, improving management information systems and promoting development of high levels of skill in their use.

It is envisaged that teaching and learning can be supported through these developments by ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of data between schools, LEAs and appropriate agencies. This consultation document seeks views on a number of the main themes of the project and in particular on the planned introduction of new and revised regulations to clarify the legal basis for the collection, use and sharing of pupil level data.
