Review of parts II, V and VI of the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984

This consultation proposes to replace the sections currently in Part II of the Act with more modern and flexible a provisions.   The aim of the proposed legislation is to provide a more effective response to the risks posed by infectious disease and contamination by chemicals or radiation.
