Register to provide services

This page explains how to register with Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW).

CSSIW decides who can provide social care services. Before any regulated service can begin to operate, they must register with CSSIW.

You must firstly contact your CSSIW local office. They will provide you with an information pack containing the application form. To find out where your local office is based click on the ‘Contact Us’ link to the right of this page.

To make an application for variation or removal of a condition of registration please print and complete the ‘Application for variation or removal of a condition of Registration’ form available to download below.

To make an application for cancellation of registration under Part 2 of the Care Standards Act 2000 please print out and complete the ‘Application for cancellation of registration under part 2 of the Care Standards Act 2000’ form available to download below.
