Find a care service or an inspection report
We regulate early years and social care services in Wales. As part of regulation we inspect services, our findings are published as Inspection Reports. You can search our directory by:
- The type of service
- The area in which the service is provided – either for a specific post code, for a CSSIW region or by Local Authority area
- You can also search for information on a specific service if you know its name
In order to protect the privacy of service users and vulnerable persons we do not show the maximum number of places or the full address for adult care homes with less than 6 places. For childminders and children’s homes we give an indication of their location and telephone number only.
You can also download publicly available inspection reports by clicking on the setting name. The most recent report for a service is available here. If during the year following the publication of a report CSSIW investigates a complaint, a report of that complaint investigation will be included at the end of the annual inspection report.
Inspection reports for childminders, children’s homes and residential family centres are not made available on the website but are available from regional offices. Copies for reports for childminders are also available from the local Children’s Information Service (CIS). Contacts are on the links page of this site. Inspection reports are available in English and/or Welsh in line with the Welsh Government's Welsh Language Scheme.
Copies of reports for registered settings that are not available on the site can be obtained by contacting your nearest CSSIW office.
