Reports on our findings of social services in Wales 1999

For more than a decade, the recognition of the key role of carers and supporting them in their caring role has increasingly been incorporated into public policy.

This report summarises the inspection findings from four local authorities.

This report focuses on the training activities undertaken by the 22 local authorities in Wales, which were supported by the programme during 1999–2000. It also reports on the investment made by local authorities themselves during the period.
