Inspection of CAFCASS CYMRU 2010
CSSIW carried out the inspection of service provision by the Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service in Wales (CAFCASS CYMRU) in the weeks commencing 28 June, 12 July, 19 July and 26 July 2010.
CAFCASS CYMRU looks after the interests of children involved in family proceedings in Wales. It works with children and their families and then advises the courts on what it considers to be in the children’s best interests. CAFCASS CYMRU main duties are set out in the Children’s Act 2004.
