The report identifies how well education, health and children’s services work with Youth Offending Service's in Wales to improve outcomes for children and young people in the youth justice system.

This report presents the findings of a joint review of Youth Offending Services (YOSs) carried out by inspectors from Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW), Estyn (Her Majesty’s Inspectorate for Education and Training), and Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW), between January and July 2010.

The report identifies how well education, health and children’s services work with YOSs in Wales to improve outcomes for children and young people in the youth justice system. The report focuses on leadership and management; assessment and planning; access to services; and the monitoring of outcomes.
