Inspection of child protection services in the County of Denbighshire
This inspection examines the nature, range and quality of child protection services provided by the local authority social services in Denbighshire.
The inspection team concluded that Denbighshire County Council demonstrates a real acceptance of its core child protection responsibilities and a clear commitment to keeping the children and young people of Denbighshire safe. The authority has faced financial constraints since local government reorganisation and, despite some protection for children’s services, it has taken considerable effort to maintain an adequate level of service.
