Review of adult services in Flintshire County Council
The review has two main stages. The early stage, common for all authorities, includes consideration of advance information, a questionnaire survey of service users and carers, a case file sample, and meetings with senior managers, representatives from partner organisations and groups of service users and carers. In the later stage, inspectors look in more detail at particular themes or service areas, chosen in the light of the early stage. In this review, the focus of the detailed stage was:
- The accessibility, range and quality of support services for older people and adults with physical or sensory impairment.
This report summarises the findings and judgements of the review. It takes into account comments from the local authority on matters of accuracy and clarification. SSIW has asked the local authority to produce an action plan to respond to the priorities set out in the report and will follow this up to assess progress.
