Review of children’s services in Pembrokeshire County Council

This report summarises the findings and judgements of the review.
The Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (SSIW) carries out the social services inspection functions of the National Assembly for Wales, under the Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Act 2003 and other legislation. The purpose of the review is to provide an objective assessment of how well local people are served and to contribute to the further improvement of services.

This review of children’s services in Pembrokeshire was carried out between August and December 2004. The review team comprised Karen Tudor, (lead inspector), Cheryl Beach (inspector), Peter Maddocks (inspector) and Hilary Marks (lay assessor).
