Inspection of services for people with a physical or sensory impairment in Torfaen Borough Council
The inspection was undertaken by the Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (SSIW) in February 2001 and was based on standards developed by SSIW.
This inspection is the first in a series of six across Wales which examine the range and quality of services provided by social services departments (SSDs) to adults with a physical disability and/or sensory impairment. It looks at how well people with a physical or sensory disability are served by local authority social services and how well placed the Council is to maintain, improve and develop good quality services.
