The one day conference in City Hall Cardiff on November 14 - the flagship event for Global Entrepreneurship Week in Wales – is geared to support business growth and the vast majority attending are entrepreneurs who run their own businesses.
The extensive line-up of high profile speakers, all highly successful entrepreneurs in their fields, is credited with the event’s overwhelming popularity.
They include key note speaker Julie Meyer MBE, founder and CEO of Ariadne Capital, Bruce Dickinson lead singer with Iron Maiden and founder of the newly launched Cardiff Aviation company and Paul Ragan, star of the TV secret millionaire series and CEO of Cardiff Devils.
The conference includes fifteen interactive workshops led by experts in their field who bring their unique perspective to subjects ranging from accessing finance to the importance of innovation, new business models and social media
The event will be filmed with most sessions uploaded on You Tube and the Business Wales website for the benefit of those unable to attend.
Business Minister Edwina Hart, who is to address the conference, said:
“ The conference will provide creative and innovative solutions to real business challenges and there’s no better way then learning from people who have faced these challenges and run successful businesses.
“ The conference programme has been designed with the support of entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs and I am delighted it is proving so popular. We are also grateful for the tremendous support we have had from some of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs who have given up their time to support the event.”
The event concludes with question and answer sessions and discussions on topics identified as barriers to growth. For more information on the conference (http://business.wales.gov.uk/conference)
