The Minister was visiting Glanrafon Medical Centre, which welcomed its first patients at the end of March. The centre brings together two GP practices along with other services and also has the capacity to expand further in the future.
The Minister said:
“Providing a number of services under one roof can only be of benefit to patients. The excellent facilities at Glanrafon do just that. Having purpose built facilities, like the ones I have seen today, make a real difference to both patients and staff. It shows how delivering on investment in our health service continues to have an impact.”
The centre, backed by Welsh Government funding, includes nine consulting rooms, three treatment rooms, a room for podiatry services and a dispensary. It also has the benefit of a training consulting room, supporting Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board’s commitment to increase training practices in the area.
The centre has brought together two GP practices, the Bradley Practice and Grosvenor Street Practice together with other supporting clinical services.
