Carl Sargeant, Minister with responsibility for the Armed Forces, Families and Veterans in Wales will attend the Buckley Remembrance Service and Parade in North Wales on Sunday 11 November.
Friday 09 November 2012

The Minister will join members of the Royal British Legion in remembering members of the Armed Forces who have lost their lives in conflicts both past and present. Following the parade, the Minister will lay a wreath at the memorial in the town.

Carl Sargeant said:

"We owe our Armed Forces and veterans an immense debt of gratitude. Remembrance Sunday is an opportunity for us to remember those who have lost their lives defending our freedom and way of life.

"It allows us to reflect on the sacrifices our servicemen and women have made and continue to make on our behalf.  It is important that as a country we have an opportunity to pay tribute to them and remember them."
