Ascend and Living Library
Ascend explores innovative ways to develop both exisiting and future talent across the Welsh public service by providing users with access to a host of useful resources, learning tools and social features.
With an emphasis on community, Ascend has been built to encourage knowledge sharing and discussion amongst its users and build on the success of PSMW's facilitated learning and expert seminars.
As part of Ascend, the Living Library aims to support the transfer of knowledge and expertise across the Welsh public service. The Living Library works like your local library except books you borrow are 'living books' - people. It's a great way of learning from others who might have gone through the same experiences you are currently going through or a means of sharing good practice.
Included on the Living Library webpage is a Dissertation Bank. This is a database consisting of research assignments from people involved in a wide range of courses such as the Doctor of Business Administration in Public Service Management, Leadership for Collaboration and various Masters programmes.
