'Managing Beyond the Frontier; 21st Century Approaches for Delivering Success'

Drawing upon the knowledge and expertise of a renowned community of international speakers, the overarching theme of Summer School 2012 is ‘Managing Beyond the Frontier’, with each day focusing upon a specific aspect:

Day 1 - Managing Beyond the Frontier

As a consequence of attending today’s sessions, you will contextualise the challenges ahead for Welsh public service and learn about how different leadership styles (including yours) can help to meet these challenges.

Day 2 - Valuing People

As a result of attending today's session, you will understand how you can communicate more effectively as a leader and use these skills to develop and value others.

Day 3 - Delivering Results

From today's sessions, you will learn how to use modern technology, build high performing individuals and teams and develop strategies to overcome issues and barriers to delivery.

Day 4 - Achieving Excellence

As a result of today, you will understand how you can develop your leadership approach and underpin with practical tools and techniques, to better support achievement of excellence.

Day 5 - Accomplishing Success

Today will equip you to take a more strategic view and challenge you to translate your own learning into action, in order to create a positive impact on your work and therefore, on your organisation.
