Dear ,

Request for Information – ATISN reference 6226

Thank you for your request for information which was received by the Welsh Government on 26th June2012.

You asked:

• Could you provide details of whether or not any civil servants employed by the Welsh Government are allowed to be paid through a personal private service company or agency rather than the official government payroll system?

• If there are, could you provide details of the numbers involved and what grades are allowed to be paid through this system?

• If they are paid through a personal company how long has this practice been in operation?

No Civil Servants employed by the Welsh Government are paid through a personal private service company or agency. They are paid via the Welsh Government’s payroll system.
