Cabinet Committee Paper on School-based Counselling

The Minister for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills, has: - agreed to table a paper on school-based counselling at the Children and Young people Cabinet Committee on 3 March; - agreed that the paper should be published with the Committee minutes; - approved the draft paper and its annexes.

Statement of information / Datganiad gwybodaeth:
Principle 3 of the Code of Practice on Public Access to Information, commits the Welsh Assembly Government to publish all routine business papers, including Cabinet and Cabinet Committee papers. The Assembly Government is committed to publish those minutes and papers (not subject to the exemptions from publication) 6 weeks from the date of the respective meeting. In the case of Cabinet Committee meetings, minutes and papers will be published as soon as possible following clearance at the next meeting but no sooner than six weeks after the respective meeting.
The Minister for Children Education Lifelong Learning and Skills has been asked to agree a paper on school-based counselling for the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Children and Young People to be held on 3 March, 2008. The minutes and papers of the meeting are due to be published in the week commencing 14 April, 2008 and will be available on the Welsh Assembly Government internet site.
