Adroddiad ar Benderfyniad

Ym mis Mawrth 2002, gwnaeth Prif Weinidog Cymru ddatganiad am Ryddid Gwybodaeth ac wrth wneud y datganiad hwnnw, ymrwymodd hefyd i gyhoeddi'r wybodaeth gefndir sy'n sail i benderfyniadau'r Gweinidogion. Er y byddai cyngor am bolisi yn parhau i fod yn gyfrinachol, dywedodd Prif Weinidog Cymru y byddai'r ffeithiau, ynghyd â'r dadansoddiadau sy'n gysylltiedig â'r cyngor hwnnw, yn cael eu cadw ar wahân, a hynny er mwyn i'r dadansoddiadau ffeithiol o'r cyngor gael eu datgelu.

Ers 1 Gorffennaf 2003, mae'r ffeithiau a'r dadansoddiadau ffeithiol a oedd yn sail i benderfyniadau'r Gweinidogion wedi'u cyhoeddi mewn Adroddiadau am Benderfyniadau.

Cyn 2011, catalogir yr Adroddiadau am Benderfyniadau yn unol â chynllun catalogio’r Llywodraeth Ganolog, yr  Integrated Public Sector Vocabulary. O fis Ionawr 2011 ymlaen, caiff yr Adroddiadau am Benderfyniadau eu catalogio’n unol â phenawdau pwnc gwefan Llywodraeth Cymru, gyda chategorïau ychwanegol ar gyfer Llywodraeth (ar gyfer penderfyniadau sy’n ymwneud â swyddogaethau canolog Llywodraeth Cymru) ac Is-ddeddfwriaeth (ar gyfer penderfyniadau sy’n ymwneud â gwneud is-ddeddfwriaeth).
