Cabinet paper on transformation developments for 14-19 learning provision

Principle 1 of the Welsh Government’s Code of Practice on Access to Information, commits the Welsh Government to publish all routine business papers, including Cabinet papers.

The Welsh Government’s policy is to publish the agendas, minutes and papers for Cabinet meetings which are not subject to the exemptions from publication six weeks from the date of the respective meeting.  In the case of Cabinet Committee meetings, agendas, minutes and papers will be published as soon as possible following clearance at the next meeting but no sooner than six weeks after the respective meeting.

The Minister for Education and Skills has been asked to agree a paper on the Transformation – Developments in 14-19 Learning for the meeting of the Cabinet to be held on 24 April 2012. The paper concerns developments in 14-19 Learning outlines current transformation developments for 14-19 learning provision and proposed future actions to promote a more integrated framework of provision building on regional consortia developments.  The Cabinet, during its meeting to be held on 24 April 2012, will be asked to note the overall direction of travel.

The agenda, minutes and papers of the meeting are due to be published in the week commencing Monday 11 June 2012 and will be available on the Welsh Government internet site.
