Allocation of Budget for Work associated with the Welsh-Medium Qualifications Grant Support Programme for 2012-13 and Working Practices

The Minister for Education and Skills and the Deputy Minister for Skills have agreed the administrative arrangements for the allocations for the budget for work associated with the Welsh-Medium Qualifications Grant Support Programme. The budget will be administered by the Qualifications and Learning Division of the Department for Education and Skills, and totals £0.64m for 2012-13.

Statement of information / Datganiad gwybodaeth:  
The Minister for Education and Skills and the Deputy Minister for Skills are being asked to agree the administrative arrangements for the allocations for the budget for work associated with the Welsh-Medium Qualifications Grant Support Programme.  The budget will be administered by the Qualifications and Learning Division of the Department for Education and Skills, and totals £0.64m for 2012-13The relevant legal powers are section 10 of the Education Act 1996, sections 61(1)(k) and 71 of the Government of Wales Act 2006, sections 31-34 of the Learning and Skills Act 2000, section 14 of the Education Act 2002 and Part V of the Education Act 1997.
