Consultation on the proposed changes to the system of licensing children to perform

The Minister for Education and Skills has agreed to the Welsh Government hosting stakeholder events jointly with the Department for Education.

The Department for Education England, and the Department for Education and Skills, Wales, are preparing to jointly consult on the proposed changes to the system of licensing children to perform.

The Minister is being asked to agree to the Welsh Government hosting stakeholder events jointly with the Department for Education.

Welsh Ministers currently have the function of making regulations in relation to children involved in performing under the Children and Young Persons Act 1963.
