Editorial management of Visit Wales’ mountain bike website (Saesneg yn unig)

The Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology & Science approved expenditure of £10,208 (Exc VAT) for the management and updating of Visit Wales’ mountain biking website.

The Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology & Science is being asked to approve proposed Visit Wales expenditure of £10,208 (Exc VAT) for the editorial management of its Mountain Biking Wales website for a further 12 months.

Visit Wales Visitor Campaigns and Digital Marketing Activity contributes to the Welsh Government’s commitment to promote Wales as a destination and its related strategic and operational targets designed to grow the visitor economy in Wales.

As part of this, it is essential that the Mountain Biking Website is kept up to date and highlights events and trail development in Wales, if Wales is to continue to be seen as a World Class destination for Mountain Biking.

Welsh Ministers have the power under section 60 of the Government of Wales Act 2006 (c.32) Part 2 to:  do anything they consider appropriate to achieve the promotion or improvement of the economic well-being of Wales.
