In connection with the transfer by the Civil Aviation Authority, as the regulator, of primary responsibility for the official safeguarding of civil aerodromes and technical sites from itself to the operators of the aerodromes and the technical sites, it has been decided to cancel the Town and Country Planning (Aerodromes and Technical Sites) Direction 1992, which was issued with Department of the Environment Circular 2/92 (Welsh Office Circular 5/92) and to issue in its place an updated Direction.
