NAFWC 10/2003 Review of Standards and Regulations for Small Care Homes for Older People in Wales: Consultation Paper

This consultation paper sets out the Welsh Assembly Government proposals for relaxation to the National Minimum Standards for small care homes for older people (ie care homes with 3 or fewer beds) and invites comments upon the desirability of altering certain administrative requirements of the Care Homes (Wales) Regulations in their application to small homes. It has been written following discussions with representatives of Care Forum Wales. Comments are sought by 30 April 2003. A final decision on the most appropriate way forward will be made once all comments have been considered.
