“Better Homes for People in Wales: A National Housing Strategy for Wales” contains the Assembly Government’s vision for social housing. We are committed to ensuring that good quality social housing is readily available for those who need it. By 2012 all of Wales’ social housing should reach high quality standards both in terms of condition and management.

The Social Housing Management Grant Programme is designed to help social landlords achieve high standards of housing management.

The Programme supports projects:

• to pilot innovative housing management policies and schemes;
• to develop housing management good practice; and
• to help the implementation of new housing management policies.
