This circular sets out guidance for local authorities on the Welsh Assembly Government’s objectives in providing this grant funding. The terms and conditions which are attached to the guidance at Annex A provide details of the procedure for submitting evidence of compliance. It is important that local authorities return their confirmation of the terms and conditions of the scheme as quickly as possible in order that grant for 2001-02 can be made before the end of the financial year.
