We want everyone in Wales to have the information and communication technology (ICT) skills that they need to improve their lives - from the basic computer skills needed to take advantage of online discounts to the specialist ICT skills required by business.

Education, learning and skills development underpin many of the objectives in Digital Wales.

The core of any excellent education system is based on talented teachers, sound curriculum and strong leadership. Integrating digital technologies encourages new forms of teaching and learning and helps equip learners throughout our society to participate and prosper in a global digital economy.

Our approach to ICT skills addresses all ages and skill levels – schools, work, higher education and adult and community learning.

Our objective is to develop digital literacy to give people the competence and confidence to embrace technological change throughout their lives.
