Llwybro-Routes
Helping young people to stay in, or return to communities in Wales.
Llwybro-Routes was established as a pilot project in 1998 as a response to the problem of out-migration of young people from mid Wales.
It was managed and funded by the Welsh Assembly Government's Department of Economy and Transport.Following independent evaluation of the pilot project and the preparation of a new business plan, Llwybro-Routes was extended throughout rural Wales and to several authorities outside rural Wales.

In the summer of 2007, the Llwybro-Routes programme was again evaluated. The evaluation showed that, for a number of reasons, the scheme had moved away from its original mission, and needed to be refocused. Discussions are now underway to design and deliver a new Llwybro-Routes programme. In the meantime, the project is on hold until a new business plan is developed.The promotion of staying in rural Wales or returning to rural Wales as attractive and viable options.
