Advice and recommendations from the City Regions Task and Finish group.

The advisory group chaired by Dr Elizabeth Haywood was set up November 2011. It was tasked to consider and report on the potential role of ‘City Regions’ in future economic development and prosperity in Wales.

The group also considered evidence from businesses, academics, local government, citizens and other interested parties.  The summary of responses to the Call for Evidence is available below.

Report recommendations

The report contains 22 recommendations covering an array of issues relating to city regions in Wales.

What happens next?

The recommendations will be considered and we will provide a response later this year.
