The Foundation Phase is the statutory curriculum for all 3 to 7 years old children in Wales in both maintained and non-maintained settings.

It is designed to complement the discussions which take place between parents/carers and teachers.  It provides full information on what children within the Foundation Phase are learning.

The reading and numeracy test guide provides parents/carers with information on the new national reading and numeracy tests that will take place in May 2013.  It also gives information on how the tests will be scored.
