Evaluation of the Information Management Strategy (IMS) - October 2005

In March 2005, the former National Council for Education and Training for Wales (ELWa) commissioned CRG Research Ltd to undertake an evaluation of its Information Management Strategy (IMS). The IMS was created in 2002 in response to an initiative from the Welsh Assembly Government, its aim being to “make a real contribution to raising standards by freeing up time in schools, Local Education Authorities (LEAs) and the Post-16 sector and promoting more effective use of management information”.
