The purpose of Estyn Remit Reports is to provide advice in response to a request in the annual remit letter from the Minister for Education and Skills to the Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales.
Each year Estyn is commissioned to undertake in-depth studies into a variety of aspects of education and training policy. Estyn produces reports from these studies which include recommendations aimed at helping drive further improvements. Once the Minister has considered the recommendations a response is produced and published here on our website.
