Animal Movement Licence (AML) documents are used to report animal movements.

All deer, sheep and goat movements must be accompanied by a completed AML movement document. All movements must be reported by the recipient of the animals to their Local Authority within three days of the movement taking place. The Local Authority (of the destination premises), destination, haulier and departure each require a copy of the AML movement document.

  • White copy: Local authority of destination premises (within 3 days of the move)
  • Pink copy: Destination
  • Blue copy: Haulier
  • Yellow copy: Departure
