Funky Dragon works to give 0 – 25 year olds the opportunity to get their voices heard on issues that affect them.
Funky Dragon is the children and young people’s assembly for Wales.  Its mission is to enable children and young people in Wales to get their voices heard by government and others who make decisions about policies and services that affect their lives.

One way this is achieved is through the Grand Council. This is a group of 100 young people from all over Wales aged 11 to 25.  They meet directly with Welsh Ministers to discuss issues and concerns of the young people they represent.  The Grand Council meets up another three times a year and drives the work of the organisation; ensuring it is young people led.

The Grand Council has a Sustainable Development and Climate Change steering group; Bethan and Lewis attend Commission meetings on behalf of this group.
