Transport: Dr Lorraine Whitmarsh

Lorraine is an environmental psychologist, specialising in perceptions and behaviour in relation to climate change, energy and transport.

She is a lecturer in the School of Psychology at Cardiff University. The School is one of the largest and most prestigious psychology departments in the UK.

Lorraine is:

  • partner coordinator for the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research;
  • Research Associate of the Centre for Business Relationships, Accountability, Sustainability and Society (BRASS); and 
  • associate of Cardiff University’s Sustainable Places Research Institute.
