We have developed a new approach to managing our environment and natural resources. This was needed because changes in our society are having an impact on our natural resources – our air, water, and landscapes and wildlife.

The Living Wales Programme worked on this new approach between 2010 and 2013.

Our Minister gave an oral statement to the National Assembly on 23 October 2012 on the outcomes of the ‘Sustaining a Living Wales’ consultation.

Environmental Delivery Options Feasibility Study

This project reviewed the institutional arrangements for managing the environment through an integrated approach for the well-being of the people and wildlife of Wales. This reflects the principles of the Natural Environment Framework.
