If you are struggling with your fuel bills you can receive support and advice through our new fuel poverty scheme - Nyth/Nest. You may also be eligible for help in improving your home's energy efficiency.

Carbon Emissions Reduction Target

The Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT) encourages domestic gas and electricity customers to improve energy efficiency. Energy suppliers invest in home energy efficiency measures in Wales. This complements our Home Energy Efficiency Scheme.

You  can receive help from any energy supplier, regardless of whether you buy energy from them. Between 2008-11 it is expected that around £180 million will be invested in Wales.

Energy Saving Trust Advice Centres

The Energy Saving Trust has a network of Advice Centres that can give you advice on free and low cost ways to save energy. They offer a Home Energy Check which gives you a personalised report on ways in which you can save energy in your home.
