Strategic Policy Position Statement on Water 2011

We set the strategic direction for water policy in Wales. Our approach reflects that sustainable development is our central organising principle.

In March 2009, we published our first Strategic Policy Position Statement on Water. The Policy Statement outlined our priorities for water. The Statement contained key issues and actions to be taken. A summary of progress against those actions is at Annex A of this Statement.

This revised Statement updates our position. It reflects developments that have happened and highlights future priorities in relation to water policy in Wales.
