There are three charities working together under the umbrella name Farming Help to assist the farming community.
Rural Wales

Farming and countryside issues, including our agricultural schemes, the Rural Development Plan for Wales and On-farm health and safety.

Our agricultural schemes, delivered through the Rural Development Plan for Wales, are working towards sustainable management of agriculture and the environment. 

  • Glastir is our agri-environment scheme, and pays for the delivery of specific environmental goods and services
  • you must use the Single Application Form (SAF) to apply for payment under our agricultural schemes 
  • Cross compliance is a European Union (EU) requirement setting out standards that farmers have to meet in order to receive payment through our schemes

Gwlad on-line provides everything that is in the magazine plus additional up to the minute news features, video, interviews and announcements.

Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013

The Rural Development Plan 2007-2013 (RDP) is the mechanism by which the Welsh Government will deliver the activities under the EU Rural Development Regulation (EC 1698/2005). The RDP was approved by the European Commission on 20 February 2008.
