Rural development plan for Wales 2007-2013
The Rural Development Plan (RDP) for Wales 2007-2013 was formally approved by the European Commission's Rural Development Committee on 20 Feb 2008.
The Rural Development Plan (RDP) Executive Summary 2007-2013 is now available to download under the publications section of the web-site.
The RDP in Wales has a total budget of £795 million over the lifetime of the Plan with £195 million coming from the European Union.
A copy of the approved Plan and associated documents can now be downloaded from the page on the right of the screen
Political agreement to a new EU Rural Development Regulation was reached at the Agriculture and Fisheries Council in June 2005. This sets out the themes for rural development in Europe over the next programme period.
