If you want to benefit from the full range of Farming Connect services, you must have registered with us since July 2008.

Our team of Service Centre operators based in Aberystwyth, deal with telephone, postal and e-mail enquiries from farm and forestry businesses throughout Wales on a daily basis.

They will:

  • register you to ensure that you are eligible for support;

  • identify your requirements in order to match up your needs with the most appropriate services or expert advice;

  • direct you to our Farm Advisory Service, which will support you on the range of cross compliance issues which affect your entitlement to the Single Farm Payment.

Registration process

  • Contact our Service Centre on 08456 000 813 - one of our Service Centre operators will check your eligibility, register you over the phone and discuss your requirements.

  • Alternatively, you can fill in a registration form at any events or agricultural shows where Farming Connect has a presence.

  • Once you are registered, the Service Centre will send you a letter and Farming Connect information leaflets which set out the range of fully-funded and subsidised services available.

  • After registration, you will be contacted by a member of staff from your local Farming Connect regional hub office in the Welsh Government Divisional offices in Caernarfon, Llandrindod Wells or Carmarthen.

  • Farming Connect teams are based at the regional offices to promote closer working between Farming Connect, the Farm Liaison Service and the Welsh Government’s Rural Payments Division front office service.

You must be registered with Farming Connect before you can benefit from all the Farming Connect services. Call our Service Centre on 08456 000 813 to register.
