The Wales the True Taste Food and Drink Awards are an annual competition to find the very best Welsh produce.

If you are shopping for Welsh food and drink, keep your eye open for the Wales the True Taste logo. This denotes a product that has won a True Taste Award.

The Wales the True Taste Food and Drink Awards is an annual competition with more than 1,000 entries. Every entry is rigorously evaluated by a diverse range of judges including chefs, food writers, journalists and industry representatives – so you can be sure that every winner is top quality.

The following logos are used on gold, silver and bronze Award winning products from 2010 onwards:

Competition categories cover all kinds of food and drink, from fish to fruit, from seafood to cider, and from wine to water. There are also categories for eating out, retailers, organic produce, food for health, and sustainability, so a wide range of companies and individuals have the chance to gain the True Taste accolade.

True Taste Award winners are denoted in the Directory of Food and Drink From the People of Wales by their logos. The link to the directory is in the right hand menu.
