Equality and diversity

From here, you can access information about how the Welsh Assembly Government is working with our partners towards a Wales where everyone achieves their full human potential and can live free from poverty, discrimination, fear or abuse.

The Welsh Assembly Government's statutory duty to promote equality has led to the development of a distinctive equality agenda in Wales.  We believe that no one should be denied opportunities because of their race, ethnicity, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age or religion.

This together with our commitment to the principles of human rights underpins all the work of the Welsh Assembly Government.
