Employer Equality Report 2009-2010

Some of our achievements are highlighted below:

Leadership

We took a lead role to arrange an equality and employment conference attended by public sector organisations across Wales. The aim was to highlight the importance of advancing equality and diversity in the workplace.

Talent Management

Over 50% of participants on the Pathways to Success Programme have gone on to achieve promotion.

Skills

38 Welsh language training courses have been provided at locations across Wales.

Resourcing

3 participants of the Supported Employment Scheme have been made permanent members of staff.

Reward and Recognition

We showcased the success of the Inclusion Team who received our Equality and Diversity Award for their work on developing the Gypsy and Traveller Strategy.
